Hiltcher Walking Trail

I have a new sketch book and have been taking it out every morning to sketch the trail. Ivy hasn't been feeling very well so we didn't go very far. The sun was coming up through the trees and will make a fun painting. For now it started out pencil, I inked it in today and hopefully will add color another day.

It's a great drawing, Pat. You could stop right there. As someone we know would say - it's a hammer.

Gorgeous handmade paper in your new sketchbook too.

Get well soon, Ivy. It's miserable that you are not well.

This is looking so lovely - I heard via Robyn and Sketchercise that Ivy's not too well... hope it's nothing serious and she gets better quickly.

What an alluring drawing this is! I'm sure looking forward to going further into your wonderful forest -- just as soon as Ivy is feeling better.

Pat -- thank you most kindly for your most generous comments and thoughtfulness. I'm returning hugs and prayers for Ivy ... and hope that things get better for both of us... lots of stressors! I REALLY LOVE this sketch -- I can just see it glowing in your talented hand and brush, Pat!

HUGS to you and heartfelt thanks! And I wish I could join you for a slice of watermelon!!!!
