Dana Point

I sketched for a few hours, just watching the waves until I lost my shade. My camera doesn't do justice to graphite sketches, however, this is one of my favorites because it is so simple and I also like the unfinished line of the cliff.

As usual, I am always touched by your piece of Dana Point - they seem to have a lot of depth and feeling in them.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I so love your sketches, your style is so loose, but with minute detail. Wonderful :)

Ivy and Sam are soooo cute, such little poppets :)

You seem to have the magic touch with waves -- I've just been looking at the enlargements of your pictures, and they look so spontaneous, as if every pencil shading or brushstroke was exactly right the first time!
