Here is the painting for the Different Strokes From Different Folks art challenge at DSFDF . The real challenge for me was getting it into the email with the right dpi and resolution. I will count this as a learning curve and try again next time.

You've done a fine job here, great colors and wonderful sense of place; I can almost smell the salt air.
I especially like how you dressed him in longer clothes; my first thought when seeing the photo was, 'That water looks cold!'
A lovely painting Pat, he does look as if he's breathing deeply of that sea air. The reflections are wonderful.
I love the feel of this picture! It makes me miss those days in California where its a beautiful day, but still not summer weather so you need a hoody.
