Hiltcher Park Walking Trail
The morning started out cold and crispy then the fog rolled in and the leaves began to drip moisture watering the new growth of grass seed and wild radish. The new grass is a fresh chartreuse color, that new green of spring color. That's what happens here, first the days grow shorter, moisture from the coastal fog gives that needed moisture and then a few hot weeks and the plants give their last bloom of the season.

I really LOVE how you sketch these, Pat -- you can see the wonderful bones of your painting ... really a great job in and of itself too!
