This is a sketch that I have been seeing every morning when Ivy and I go off for our walk. This man comes from behind and passes me riding into the sunrise. The shadow and the blackout conditions leaves an imprint when I close my eyes. When I got home I put it on paper. I don't quite know about the mechanics of the bicycle, but this is what I see in my minds eyes.

Real wonderful work is this. Love the pose and the color. I admire your memorizing ability too.
Oh what a delight to find this page. It instantly makes me think of my oldest son - our passionate cyclist! I have an 'itch' to try to capture a cyclist to tie into his interests, but I am not that confident to attempt a bike at this point. I'm amazed to see how you've captured this bike.... and it was moving. Fantastic!!! and such a pleasure to find it today.
Magical watercolour sketch, Pat. I love that you have also allowed us to click it as a 'big' image. Belongs in a frame.
Great to see this bigger image, Pat - I just love this cyclist and his shadow. I agree with Robyn... frame it.
What a great sketch and beuatiful light and shadow!! I'm impressed you can just picture what you see and keep it in your mind long enough and well enough for you to be able to sketch afterwards!! I'm not sure I could do this!!
That is just wonderful
