Ivy

Ivy-graphite on cream paper
Ivy is my brindle colored greyhound. She was rescued from the Agua Caliente race track in Mexico two years ago and has been in her forever home (my house) ever since.

What a wonderful painting of your special dog. I feel her eyes reaching out, and it makes me think of my oldest son in Texas. He adopted a Greyhound last September and I haven't met her yet. Her name is "Z". So, it is really nice to see your painting and get more familiar with Greyhounds. Your special one looks like a sweetheart!

Such a beautiful sketch of Ivy. Very sensitive and full of love. Your talents are quite versatile, whether you work in graphite or paint!

It's a lovely and very sensitive sketch, Pat. Ivy feels at ease and looks full of gratitude. She must be more than happy now that you have started painting houses again!
